Privacy Policy

APTrainer is a training app for blackjack advantage play. This policy describes what we collect, who we share it with, and how you control your data.

What we collect

• Account information. Email address (for sign-in) and, optionally, display name. We do not collect your real name, address, or government ID.
• Subscription status. If you subscribe, Stripe holds your payment method; we only receive subscription metadata (plan, status, period end).
• Training and sim data. Training quiz attempts, module progress, grind session stats, and hand logs from the simulator.
• Aggregate analytics. Page views and custom events via Plausible Analytics (cookieless, no individual tracking). We do not use Google Analytics or similar trackers.
• Cookies.A session cookie from Supabase Auth keeps you logged in. A short-lived cookie on the landing test preserves an anonymous attempt if you don't sign up. No advertising cookies.

Who we share data with

We use the following third parties, each limited to the data required to provide the service:

• Supabase — database and auth.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Vercel — hosting and edge functions.
• Resend — transactional email.
• Plausible — aggregate analytics (no personal data).

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. We do not share training data with casinos.

Data retention

Training and sim session data is retained for the life of your account. If you cancel your subscription, your training and session history remains accessible. If you delete your account, all rows keyed on your user id are removed within 30 days.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

• Export. You can download a JSON copy of your data at any time from your account page (Data export). Delivery by email.
• Deletion. You can request full account deletion from your account page. This removes all user-owned rows and, if active, cancels your Stripe subscription at period end.
• Access / correction.Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Age requirement

APTrainer trains blackjack skill; it does not offer real-money gambling. Users must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
